I am a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, specializing in fluid dynamics and mechanical engineering with experience in both computational and experimental methods. I teach across Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering streams, and I take great satisfaction in mentoring students on their curricular and extracurricular projects. Alongside my academic work, I also serve as an entrepreneur and consultant mechanical engineer, working with both Sri Lankan and international clients on research and development projects that deliver innovative solutions in fluid dynamics and broader engineering domains. My long-term vision is to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry to develop sustainable, practical solutions that meet the future challenges of humankind. I am currently seeking suitable PhD opportunities as the next step in my academic career, with the goal of further strengthening my expertise and expanding my ability to contribute to impactful, industry-relevant research.
